For those living outside California (or inside but under a rock), Proposition 8 is a measure on tomorrow's ballot to codify "Marriage is only between one man and one woman" into the state constitution. That's absolutely disgusting, and I wish there was a way to figure out where it happened (i.e. California) and catch the person. And people worry about electronic voting machines messing stuff up, ugh.

After reading again, that means it's a person against gay marriage doing it, too? That makes me sadder. I don't quite get why people wouldn't be more upset if they hated proposition 8, though. Or am I confused?

You're confused. Someone against Prop 8 (in other words, for gay marriage) stole the ballots. A bunch of other people against Prop 8 then went on record that these actions were totally unacceptable.

Thanks, I thought it was an election counter, I didn't realize it meant a post-office person was keeping them so they wouldn't reach their destination.
