Is there a local seamstress you could take it to and see if you could have it let out and the armholes adjusted a bit invisibly, quickly before the wedding? If so you could ask for the money from the seller and still wear the dress? Keeping good thoughts for you.

I love the idea of custom made clothes from etsy, but I have been too chicken to buy any, because of worrying how they'll fit once I get them. I'm crossing my fingers for you to get your dress fixed in time!

Yeah, I had mild concerns about the mail-order element--that's why I ordered so far in advance (not that it did me any good in the end). Plus, this seller has really good feedback. Everyone raves about the dresses and how well they fit. Just my luck it's my dress she decides to fuck up.

I've had a tailor recommended to me by a good friend and will be going to check them out in a little bit. Apparently they work fast. So if the changes that I need done can be done, they should be able to do it in time.
