Yesterday morning I went to church. They were putting on a Christmas program and several of my friends were involved, so I figured I should make an appearance. My husband and I are fairly new to atheism/agnosticism. We belonged to the United Church of Christ (really liberal & progressive) for years, but slowly realized our new beliefs (or lack thereof?) after we had children. Now, my husband is more on the snarky Hitchens/Dawkins side of things, and I'm just kind of floundering.
Have you listened to Julia Sweeney's new-ish comedy sketch called "Letting Go of God?" It's brilliant, and I related to it so much.
