“Junsu yah, you have to finish your work!” Jaejoong nags at Junsu. Junsu was sitting at his desk, laptop splayed in front of him. A clean, blank word processor stayed open. Jaejoong has already disconnected the internet, took away his phone and iPOD.
“Yah, Jaejoong-ah! Why my iPOD?” Junsu pouts and swivels around in his chair. He finds Jaejoong diligently reading a book on his bed.
“I know you have games in there.” Jaejoong states without focusing on his book.
“Fine.” Junsu gives in and swivels back to his laptop.
Let’s see….
Kim Junsu
May 4, 2002
MU301; Professor SooMan
He stares at his screen, satisfied. He lets out a little giggle and immediately gets scolded.
“Junsu. Work.” His voice stern and unmoving.
“Jaejoong!” he complains again. “I don’t want to do this. Can’t we just…you know.” Junsu attempts to sway. It’s been a hectic week and he hasn’t time to be with Jaejoong and Jaejoong wouldn’t dare touch him if he wasn’t done with all his homework.
“Su. No.” Jaejoong flips over on his stomach and continues reading.
“Jaejoong! Do you know how fucking long it’s been!?” Junsu retorts.
“Eight days, and counting if you don’t finish your paper.” He says matter-o-factly.
Junsu looks at him in confusion, holding up all five fingers, the other hand pointing to each one. His eyes are glued to the ceiling and lips are motioning, ‘one, two, three…’ “You’re right.” He says with a hint of sadness.
He turns around and focuses on his paper. He eventually pushes himself and gathers facts on the internet, types out an outline for his ten page paper and figures out the order of his paragraphs.
“YAY!” Junsu exclaims like a child. He claps a few times, praising himself.
“What is it? You’re done?” Jaejoong gets up, putting the book aside for the first time.
“No, but I think I know how I’m going to start this thing!”
“That’s good.” Jaejoong silently face palms behind Junsu’s back and flops back down on the bed.
Not even a minute later a small whisper comes, “Jaejoong?”
“Yes?” he gets up, eager to know what was wrong. “We really can’t just you know…it might help me focus.”
Jaejoong sighs and again rejects his idea. “Su, you always fall asleep after, without fail.” He sees Junsu pout and he gives in, “Fine. I’ll stay with you while you finish, but no touchy touchy stuff till you’re done. Got it?”
Junsu’s face lit up like a light bulb just ignited. He ran with laptop in hands and dived in the bed next to Jaejoong. Except Junsu sat down, using three fluffy pillows as a desk and Jaejoong laid beside him.
Jaejoong, just as Junsu, could barely stand strong without being close with Junsu. The eight days might’ve killed him, but he waited. He always does. He got up and leaned on Junsu’s shoulder, hovering over his unfinished paper.
Junsu looked at Jaejoong in surprise. They exchange smiles. “Work, okay?” Jaejoong coos and gets comfortable. He slips a hand around Junsu’s waist and holds him tight. “Junsu-yah, I wish you didn’t procrastinate on this.” He sighs. And Junsu agrees.
If he had done this earlier, this week would’ve been a whole lot less stressful and more fun, for the both of them. Oh well, it was too late to regret. He just wanted this done as soon as possible and out of the way.
For a while, Jaejoong rests his eyes as Junsu typed away. A subtle movement in Junsu’s position and Jaejoong’s eyes fling open.
“Sorry,” Junsu apologizes.
“Mmf Nnf.” Jaejoong smiles and adjusts again. He moves behind Junsu. He spreads his legs and wraps them at the side of Junsu. He hugs Junsu from behind and locks his hands at Junsu’s stomach.
“Not too tight, Joongie.” Junsu puts his hand over the locked fist and Jaejoong loosens his grip. Junsu grins and stares at his laptop - three more pages.
Jaejoong nuzzles his head, buried between Junsu’s back and shoulder. “Hurry, okay?” Jaejoong whispers and falls back asleep.
“Jaejoong-ah.” Junsu says an hour later. “Jaejoongie.” He holds Jaejoong’s hand still locked in front of him and sighs.
As quiet as he could, Junsu turned around and placed a soft kiss on Jaejoong’s lips, waking him up. Jaejoong doesn’t open his eyes but lifts his head up, signaling he’s awake. “Babe, you done?” He questions, smiling. He slowly opens an eye then two.
“Yes.” Junsu closes his laptop and turns back around, letting his lips tingle at the touch of Jaejoong.
Whatever did I do to deserve you?
