Ooh, interesting. I like this a lot. Very moody and - ha - depressing. Well, it is! But that's not a bad thing. Future!Jack is depressing, as is a lot about Lost canon. Anyway, this is great.

Oh yeah, terribly depressing, that future!Jack - probably why I like to play with it so, I have two settings, depressing and schmoopy, no middle ground for me!

Wow, that was really something! Very angsty and depressing, but that's a very good thing! I loved your vision of them waiting for the choppers, I loved the explanation of Jack and Sawyer's relationship... Everything here is in it's right place. :)

Oh thank you! I was kinda iffy about their relationship in this as I usually tend to believe their totally and compltely in love with each other, but they didn't want to do that in this, so I'm so glad that it worked for you. :)

I've missed reading a lot of fic in the last few months, this one of yours chief among them. My loss. This is a wonderful portrait of just exactly how fucked in the head Jack became after the rescue, and how even Sawyer couldn't save him. There just isn't anything happy about post-rescue Jack at all, is there?
