Stasis

Throughout history, periods of inactivity, of stagnation, of static apathy toward evolutionary (or revolutionary) change occurs. I believe, yet hope to be wrong but await further evidence proving such, that we are in the midst of a stasis. Time and effort stand still, at times even feel as though we have gone backward instead of forward.
