I can't even imagine not wanting to use your imagination. I accidentally caught an episode of Wife Swap or whatever the name of that vile show is, and one mother expected nothing but perfection and extreme competition in sports from her sons. She got up at the crack of dawn every day to clean their house from top to bottom, then she worked out in a basement covered with pictures of herself looking buff. It was incredibly disturbing.

did you see the Aldous Huxley quote (next to most recent entry)....I think the man hit the nail on the head! my god, that IS insane, I feel kinda ill just reading this (I suppose I would've chundered, had I seen it)...Ernest Becker said it best: "Normality is neurosis."
