Last night I couldn't get to sleep. I didn't even go to bed until around 2AM, and from then I just stared at the ceiling for a while. I tried working out a homework problem in my head, hoping that would put me to sleep (and perhaps induce crazy math dreams!), but I ended up proving both implications of the "if and only if" statement, so I got up ( Read more... )

As a grad student / staff member, I get the option of deferring my tuition until October 1. Since we don't get our first paycheck until September 15, it is very convenient. At least, it isn't as terribly inconvenient.

In truth, I compulsively wash my hands and brush my teeth. Just ask Alli.

On Saturday I brought her some handsoap for their kitchen sink, because they didn't have any out.
