Mister Tickles rode with me to Memphis today (3 hours in the car). I took some videos, you can find them on my youtube page.

I took him to the vet today. 30 minutes and 50 dollars later they determined that the mysterious lump on his hip was a harmless reaction to his pointless rabies vaccination. It should be gone in 6 months or so.

My parents had been hearing weird noises in their room at night for months and one morning (at like 4) woke up to find a bat flying around. According to the CDC, waking up in a room with a bat constitutes exposure, since you cannot eliminate the possibility you've been bitten. So we caught the bat and got it euthanized. Fortunately it didn't have rabies, but it's still a risk.

But yeah. Mister Tickles is a very loquacious kitty.
