My last utility bill was pretty high because (in part) the thermostat has been set to like 75. What can I say, I like to be comfortable! Having a desktop PC on all the time probably has something to do with it as well ( Read more... )

Didn't your parents teach you the value of wearing warm clothes when it's cold, instead of paying the gas/electric company to do it for you? ;)

It was very easy IMO, like an undergraduate-level course. I think a lot of the students in there actually were undergrads, or at least non-math students. We had weekly homework assignments which were sometimes challenging, sometimes not challenging, but almost always entertaining.

As an undergrad I had a discrete math class which was half combinatorics and half graph theory, so maybe I found it easy because I had seen the material before.
