Poignant and yet with a touch of hope. And you can't help but feel a little sorry for poor Bunny.

Such a sad segment with beautiful scenes and phrases -

The whole scene about their first night together was poignant. Your last line summed it up: "He was the moon pulling Napoleon's tide."

This is such a good description: "New York was a city that never slept, but sometimes neighborhoods indulged in naps."
