I have a question and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I thought it'd be a good start as any. I noticed that just about everything is included in the things that you can gift someone with, except for a fanmix. I was wondering if you could do something like that if, you didn't think you would be good at writing fic and creating icons/art or various things like that. If not, that's fine. Just thought I'd ask. :)

We wish we could say yes, but we would have to limit you to only creating a fanmix for someone if they specifically requested a fanmix. It probably wouldn't occur to most people to ask for that, and if no one requested a mix, we wouldn't be able to match you with anyone. We want the exchange to include as many fans as possible, but we also don't want anyone's experience with the exchange to be a disappointment.

So at this time, if a fanmix is the only medium you have to offer, we have to say that we'd rather you not post an official sign-up. If you want to wait and watch the sign-ups and see if someone DOES request a fanmix, you'd be more than welcome to throw your hat into the ring at that point, and we would add you as a full participant in the fest.

Remember, we still have ten days of sign-ups left, so it might happen! :)

And, see I've been wanting to be a participant in this exchange for a little while now, since I'm a participant in a lot of other fandom exchanges around the holidays that allow for/include fanmixes - which - is why I posted asking the question. I understand why you're regrettably saying now, but at the same time it sort of seems a bit unfair to me as well. I mean, if I could write something or create various graphics, I would most certainly do that.

But, as it is, I'm only able to create a fanmix. I figured anyone would like something like that anyway, since most people enjoy music and they enjoy things like that being put together for their favorite character or ship. But, it's fine if you can't allow it. *g* I'm not upset in the least and I understand, even though I do feel a bit disappointened that I can participate in a way. :)
