Quick question - how are you determining whether the word count has been met? I ask because the Google Docs and Microsoft Word counts for my fic show an 8% difference so far, with GDocs high and Word low, and a couple of online word counters are giving me totals that are somewhere in the middle of those. Obviously my fic isn't finished yet, but assuming the discrepancy continues, there could be a significant difference between GDocs' and Word's final counts. I'm hoping my finished fic will be long enough to avoid these issues entirely, but just in case - if GDocs (which is what I'm using to write my fic) puts my count at 15,000+ while Word or another counter has it closer to 14,000, is that acceptable?
