People were always joking about how something terrible happened to Greg, and that's how he became Hotch. Obviously the canon facts make it impossible for Hotch to use to be Greg etc etc...and my obvious Fridge Horror post-series thought of what would turn Greg into someone Hotch like is this: Dharma's luck runs out and her trusting nature attracts something horrible

Warnings: Author might take forever to finish something. Triggers: Kidnapping, stalking, sexual assault (don't know if it will go there, but there will be fears of it so triggering).
Intuition connects us to the natural world and to our nature. Freed from the bonds of judgement, married only to perception, it carries us to predictions we will later marvel at. - Gavin de Becker, The Gift of Fear.
PremonitionBelly to the sky, raised on her forearms and shins, Dharma Finkelstein instructed her class to breathe in deeply, and tried to find her own center as her normally limber body threatened to seize. Jason Gideon, victimology.
The Girls of SummerlandWhen Jason Gideon was a very young boy, he spent his summer running around in the woods with the neighbourhood girls. A neglected campfire that raged for days before he was born had created a region of younger and thinner woods in the middle of an old growth forest. The girls would pretend to be fairies with flowery wreaths in their hair, the willow branches collected from the riverside before their trip into the woods, the flowers picked from the shade dwellers that lines the forest floor: butterfly violets, grape hyacinths, red crowned columbines, buttercups, and magenta-veined white sorrels

Highlight to read Trigger Warnings: Casefile discussion of drugs, kidnapping, confinement and sexual assault.
Working the Case
"-then one week ago, a group of adventurous cave-divers stumbled across this," Agent JJ Jareau paused to take another readying breath, as Garcia ducked her head once and did the same, and then the picture of a dead woman in water filled the screen.
The stony gazes of Gideon-Hotch-and-Prentiss were unwavering, while Morgan surreptitiously scanned the room - but what he was really studying was Reid's reaction. Today their pet genius was struggling to focus again - or maybe he was working up a emotional distance between the horror of the week and his elephant's memory.
"They could feel their lungs filling up with water - it's an extremely painful way to die."
Morgan wondered if Reid was remembering the last moments of Mark Gregory's victims, or if it was something else.
Unlike the skeleton in Arizona or the rotting corpse that city workers found beneath a garden park flower bed, the body of Justinia Page
