me me me!!!! I fucking loved it when we were there on Halloween!!! We kinda got forced into it because the big haus was closed for people trick or treating.. the dicks. SO me, the dood and Hexed went and I was ALL KINDS OF CRAZED!!!!!!!!!!! Plus being able to place video games that are older than half the kids there was great ;) I only wish they had TEMPEST! I loved that game.

we also freaked kids out when we would come up behind them and lay a token down as a place holder. They were all like WTF??

Oh my god it was awesome -- and you're right, they TOTALLY should have Tempest, that is the best game in the universe.

I remember in high school we would go to Disneyland and spend half the damn day at the Starcade. I've been thinking back to those days and wondering "how could videogames be better than the rest of Disneyland, seriously?" My initial conclusion was that we were just silly kids with no perspective. Now that I've seen Flynn's, with all the classic games, I know the truth: those old-school videogames really WERE better than Disneyland! They were awesome!

also with all the awesome glowy shit and music I was all like WOAH it's kinda like BM! Including the Rum and Coke Zero we smuggled in!

I was standing there in my dusty boots watching the fireworks from next to the DJ and thinking "Wow, this is just like Birmingham!"

(Except that I'm clean, it's clean all over, there are a lot of kids, I'm not carrying a backpack filled with everything I need to survive, I just got denied booze, there's a flush toilet, and I get to take a bath tonight). *grin*

Well, we can find a babysitter. Problem is, we're planning on going to Disneyland on Tuesday, so paying for another full day just for maybe three hours on Monday, plus the babysitter, is looking like a bit much.

OK, Well, at least we can have dinner in Downtown Disney.

I'd do both nights, but I can probably only take off one day from work (I have a LOT of knowledge transfer to do before I leave) and Poryotics' show will be too awesome to miss.

Dunno if you noticed, but the tokens? You gave me one and I wanted to play pinball but then that dude broke the pinball machine, so I stuck it in my pocket and forgot it was there.

HOW COOL IS THAT.

I did notice but was too overwhelmed with the urge to play videogames to keep one. I did notice that they had totally old-fashioned token machines.

I will be there fer shizzle on Monday 11/22 because Poreotics will be performing on the ElecTRONica stage. They are Asian boys from Westminster (wat woot!) who won Season 5 of America's Best Dance Crew.

I think they serve light up lemonade, which I will enjoy as I geek out.

Let me know if you show up Sunday also, so I have an excuse to leave an obligatory event early. hehehe

The gate from the street to the back lot, that you had to pass under, was a recognizer.
