Well written, and I feel as if you did capture the essence of Agron here. I felt his pain through your words, and I could totally see this happening for him. You should write more from his perspective. I was totally engrossed. Thank you for sharing this. Excellant job! <3

Thank you so much for your comments! I was so nervous about posting this and I'm delighted that someone read it and liked it! I would love to write some more as him, I'm working out something at the moment.

I agree, Agron is such an intriguing character, particularly with the way he changed after Duro's death, it seemed like he really needed that mooring point in his life, to give him purpose and focus and without that he was really lost and hurting so much. And then Nasir comes along, giving him something else to focus on other than killing Romans; it seems like he needs someone to care for, to help define who he is and give him purpose. Even with that he's still quick tempered but he does seem to mellow was time goes on, which I guess is part Nasir, part realising his commitment to Spartacus, and maybe not having to fight so much to get his voice heard within the rebellion. (Pretty sure he and Duro were the first ones to join with Sparty over the rebellion, so I can imagine the frustration of having to defer to Crixus all the time ( ... )

Yesss, I do love that dynamic to seemingly simple, volatile characters with a lot going on underneath. And I take the hint :P I have a lot churning around in my brain, so I'm going to have to start writing some of it down.

You're GMT too?? This is exciting! There aren't too many of us in Spartacus world, I don't think.

Really enjoyed this. I could feel Agron's grief and pain. T_T Makes me want to draw hurt/Agron. //>_
