Not exactly writer's block...

But I'm second guessing every thing that I write. It's quite frustrating and I end up with lots of odds and ends of different versions of the same thing. It's a difficult cycle to break out of once you get into it. Just venting a little bit here, don't mind me.

Does it help to talk things out with a friend, or to make a list of things that you absolutely want to happen in whatever story, and then see about the things you'd kinda like to include, too, and work from there? Sometimes I end up doing Story Time with my BFF on IM in an effort to get a solid foundation for whatever I'm working on.

Just tossing in a couple o' pennies. Everyone works differently.

Yes, I probably need to shake things up a bit, the list idea sounds like a good way of approaching it. I think I'm a bit too self conscious about my writing to talk it out, I kind of just like to chuck it up oh here and then run away for a while. But I shall try the list thing and maybe go off and write something new, so I can come back to the troublesome pieces later on.

Thanks for the pennies :D
