Have any of you asked things about home, about what was going on at home after someone else from there arrived?  Have you ever wished that you'd never asked in the first place because there's nothing you can do and you're just stuck here with knowledge that you don't really want and don't know what to do with?

Knowing, obviously. Look, would you really rather live in blissful ignorance while letting that other person carry the weight of the truth?

It isn't always so obvious. What if you were in a position where you were meant to help prevent things like that happening and know that you utterly failed in that department?
