"the complicated sadism of baking" is now my new favorite phrase. I like how there's the healing & emotional aspect to it, and he also stays levelheaded about the business side of things. Yay!

It is a painful exercise at times! There is burning and cutting and paaaain. But good too. Mmmm.

Chris is... a lot more intelligent than people give him credit for, I think? He plays the affable goof well, and I think he is that, but I think he's deeper than that too.
