[The entire Graces house had been in an uproar ever since Sophie was kidnapped. There wasn't a single resident who hadn't become significantly more sulky and worried. This includes Cheria, who had been spending a lot more time taking walks in hopes that she might encounter Sophie when she would finally be returned. It was also a good excuse to avoid Asbel, as things had become incredibly awkward after their 'marriage'.
Today, she is once again roaming the edge of the village when a familiar glow catches her eyes. She breaks into a run, desperate to find out whether her fears are justified. They are.]
Sophie! [She keeps running until she reaches Sophie's side, then promptly drops to her knees to examine her. It's just like... No!]
[ Sorry, Cheria! Sophie didn't mean to cause everyone to worry like that, honest! It was a terrible idea to go with those droids and Sophie realizes that now - it was nothing like she thought it'd be and she never even got to speak with the Malnosso like she'd wanted. (It seems she did have to learn the hard way what it's really like to be kidnapped.)
Sophie remains unconscious, though, still with that eerie glow about her. ]
[This isn't good. It seems exactly the same as before- But if it really is the same, then how do they fix it? The last time, they had to travel to a different world and use advanced technology that was designed especially for Humanoids. There's no way to gain access to any of that now.
And if it really is the same, Cheria already knows her healing magic won't do any good. Even so, she has to try! Have some of that soothing glow, Sophie!]
[ At first, Sophie doesn't budge at all, or show any signs of regaining her consciousness, though after a few moments, she jolts slightly before opening her eyes slowly. She looks exceptionally worn out, but she keeps her eyes open anyway, looking around before finally looking at Cheria and keeping her eyes fixated on her.
Sophie! Are you all right? [She hesitates for a moment, unsure whether she should ask this next question. Whether it's even relevant at all.] Can... can you see me?
[ She shakes her head slowly; her vision seems to be just as hazy as last time. She may be awake now but she's still a bit out of it, and she hasn't noticed everything yet - the fact that she just got back from being kidnapped and that the state she's in right now has happened before.
Yes, it's me! [She takes one of Sophie's hands in her own, giving it a reassuring squeeze. But there really isn't anything more she can do by herself. Sophie needs to be taken home, so she can rest and be looked after properly.]
I'm going to call for help, all right? I'll get Asbel and everyone else to come here. ... Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. [This is what those journals are for! She just needs to take hers out and filter a quick message to the rest of the Graces cast.]
[ That reassuring squeeze helps Sophie a little - it's nice knowing her friend is really right there. But Sophie can't do much to reply other than to nod her head and close her eyes for a moment. ]
... Everyones ... coming? [ She still sounds a bit out of it.
But she opens her eyes again (though with no luck - her vision still isn't working properly for her to see clearly). ]
Yes, they are. I'm sure of it. [She's still trying to send out that message, but it's a bit difficult to use the journal with only one hand. The other is still holding Sophie's hand to reassure her. A bit of fumbling later, she's finally managed to finish filtering the message and transmit it.]
[Likewise, as soon as Asbel receives the message, he drops whatever he was doing and raised to Cheria's location immediately, his mind racing with about a million different thoughts. Is Sophie okay? Is she hurt? What did they do to her?]
[Hubert's no different. Having been watching the journal for a moment like this one, he immediately closes the book and makes haste for Cheria and Sophie.]
Cheria!
[He arrives around the time the others do. Noticing the glow, he rushes over and drops onto one knee by Sophie's side across Cheria, just in case there's a spike in pain if this is what he fears. Even though it won't do much good.]
[Oh thank goodness, everyone certainly got here fast. Cheria glances up at them all with quite a bit of desperation showing on her face. She isn't sure what to do.]
Everyone! Sophie is... [Well, they can all see that for themselves, can't they?] ... We have to get her home!
[ Sophie tries to look around for her friends - she can certainly hear them but it's too difficult to see them right now. She can at least tell they're there, though. ]
Every ... one ...?
[ She would like to say a little more to them, maybe ask what happened to her (she's trying to remember), but she is quickly cut off by a short burst of pain (one that surely her friends have witnessed), her body's glow becoming brighter as it happens. And she cries out in pain as she grips Cheria's hand a little tighter and writhes on the ground. It hurts.
But after a moment she settles back down and resorts to just panting and making small sounds of discomfort. ]
[It's just like when they confronted Richard on Central Island... Just like back then. But this time, neither Richard nor Lambda could be responsible for this. This was the doing of the Malnosso. ...Damn them.
He stares down at Sophie for a moment, and then looks to his friends, who'd all also rushed to Sophie's aid so quickly.]

There's little they can do for her here. And in public, no less.]
