[Honestly, there was no way Asbel could sleep through Sophie's kidnapping, even if he wanted to. It was loud and there was destruction, and then Sophie talking to them. Not happening.]

[He bolted out of his room, hoping to intercept them, but he was too late, the droids gone and Sophie's room destroyed. Asbel fell to his knees.]

[Even if Richard had been asleep for the kidnapping itself (which he wasn't; there's far too much on his mind at the moment to allow that), there's no way he could've slept through that yell. It doesn't take him long to guess what's happened, either, but he sprints up the stairs to Sophie's room anyway, just in case he can do SOMETHING...]
