Challenge Guide

Feb 12, 2010 04:01

Challenges are hosted at redherring, storyboard and dustjackets. Each community hosts a different kind of challenge. Redherring has games, storyboard has writing and dustjackets has graphics.

clredherring
This is the game community. These can be anything from luck games, word games, jigsaws and trivia.

Each game requires you to post your answer in the comments, which are always screened so that other members cannot see your answers.

You may need to have an image editing software such as Photoshop. This is so you can cross out words and submit your answers. You can also print things out and scan them before submitting your finished image.

Graphics range from icons to wallpapers and posters. Writing can be anything from haikus to drabbles to longer fics.

Do NOT show your graphics/fic to ANYONE until voting is over or your entry will be disqualified.

Voting:
Please read the voting post carefully before you place your votes. It generally consists of picking your top picks, but there can also be special awards you need to vote for. Don't forget to include your team name with your vote.

Entries:
You will need to upload your image to an anonymous hosting site, such as tinypic or imageshack. Because it is not anonymous, please do not use photobucket for this.

Can I vote for my own entry?
No.

Can I submit work I've already created?
No. Unless stated otherwise, all work needs to be new and never seen by anyone other than you.

I can't do this challenge...
I'm sorry. Unfortuately, there will always be challenges that some people feel they can't enter. It's impossible to please everyone, which is why we have a variety of challenges.

Spoiler Policy
No content from new episodes can be used in challenge entries for a week after the episode airs.
