I understand that this whole flossing thing is good, and I understand why my dentist says getting the back teeth are most important. What I missed was the part on how to do this without shoving my entire fist inside my mouth. Fucking awkward thing to do in the morning.

I am just a girl with messy hair and a skinned elbow, I don't understand any of this.

Goals for the next few hours: get downtown to my interview without putting runs in my stockings, be excited about tea, don't be a ditz. I can do these things.

Well, I can do the last two. Wearing stockings without doing awful things to them is really one of those feminine skills I haven't mastered.

Why I like Star Trek writers, reason 1:

"Wouldn't it be cool if Warf was a cowboy?"
"Ok, next episode Warf gets to be a cowboy."

...they just don't give a shit.

My neighborhood is covered in wishes, so I think I can afford to be a little greedy with them.

I am also going to make myself a late birthday cake and blow out the candles. It should still count right?

Today has been one more sit on my butt and apply to jobs day. Later I will spend the night at Mom's giving her henna and playing video games. A 9" strawberry tart and 63 chocolate meringues. I'm not sure how this happened, but episodes of Star Trek were involved.

At least I'll have stuff for the party tomorrow.
