The news said DFW recorded 12 inches of snow, though it doesn't seem like as much as that out at my house. It's very powdery and wet, and the roads are mostly fine for driving. The worst road conditions I saw were at 5:30am yesterday morning on an unsalted road, but now, the only thing to watch out for is crazy people going 500 miles an hour and the numerous, numerous potholes on I-35. The high tomorrow is supposed to be 50, so the snow and ice are going to stick around very long. It's just enough snow to keep a lot of people home, be beautiful, knock out power in some places, and be a lot of fun for people and pets to play in.
