Cautious optimism - that's what I've got about our AC situation. The house has cooled down a lot, but I'm still not fully convinced yet. We'll see later today whether the system keeps the house cool during the hot middle of the day. EDIT: AAAAAAAHHH It's 80 degrees in the house as of 3:30! Not again ( Read more... )

I remember loving DS9, possibly mainly for the sheer multitude of snarky, slimy characters. Ducat and the seamster (crap, what's his name?) make me really happy. Actually pretty much all of the characters make me really happy.

Man, I loved DS9! Of course, I saw the pilot...then got in around season 3 or 4, so that might have helped. Garak (the Cardassian tailor), is simply wonderful. "In the Pale Moonlight" is probably my favorite episode. Of course, it seems like a lot of the best episodes from Star Trek end up being episodes that "never happened." Like that whole Time Destroying Super-weapon from Voyager's Year of Hell. Awesome story-arc...and in the end, it never happened. Star Trek, you're so weird.
