Yeah there is nothing as compact as "tantei-kun", I've always wanted Kid to use my dear detective but then he sounds like the's out of some old novel.

Yeah, it just, doesn't go into English. And it especially doesn't go if you use fanon's three separations for the three detectives - Tantei-kun, Tantei-san, and Tantei-han. There's just no real way to convey the differences properly English, which is why, with honorifics, those are the only words in Japanese I use, because I just can't find English equivalents. If I could, I would, though, because to me using Japanese in a fanfic is a crutch. It's basically screaming that you can't write well in English so you're using foreign words to get your meanings across with little effort. Or that you just think it's "omg so cool I kno Japenese!!!!!!1!". Geh.

(Generic "you", of course, lol).

Well hello, and welcome to my LJ! I don't post as often as I should, heh heh.

But yeah, those are all my thoughts on shipping...well, most of them. I could write entire essays about Why I Think ShinRan Is Bad and Why I Like KaiShin. Seriously, if I start, you will not get me to stop. XD;;

I do try to keep up with Conan, because I do like the general storyline and the mysteries. It's fun to read. I just cycle really fast through any romance scenes because they are physically painful. Ugh. (And really, childhood friend romance only really works well once, Gosho.)

And I have friended you back! Please enjoy! Although I wouldn't recommend reading past....last year, maybe, ohoho. Bad stuff is baaaaad.

Haha, I really won't though, I've several-hour-long IM conversations before about this stuff. XD

Yeah, I just wince and scan ahead when it goes romance. It's why I actually kind of enjoyed movie 16, despite the soccer and lol!plot - the romance was basically non-existent besides the really stupid stinger. It was all about the mystery, and that is what Conan should be. And yes, I may grin like am moron whenever Kaito and Shinichi are in the same chapter, heh heh.

Oh, I could write a book about how much I don't like them as a pairing. There are so many reasons they don't work, so many.

(Hakuba and Haibara? Admittedly I've never run across that, but Hakuba is kind of my bicycle. I'll read just about any pairing with him (as long as it's not Kaito) since I don't have a preference about who he goes with. He tends to be my If Someone Needs A Man solution because of this, lawl.)
