thanx for the review, somehow i feel i will have the same opinion with you! i know about the jammy scone scene and i had a sly smile when i was served a scone last week cause of that! oh Lord, save my poor soul!

can't wait to watch the film myself to discuss it with others!

WAIT, THE GAY KISS IS WITH BASIL?

okay, I'm totally not reading anything else about this movie. I can't find a cinema that is showing it here, but I'm going to save my outrage and capslock until I get to see it play out ~before my eyes~. Then I can sit there, rocking myself and reminding myself that I don't get upset when movies completely fuck books up and essentially miss the point.

I may need to drag out my copy of the book because I don't have a clue who Emily is. Come to think of it, I only remember half of the characters...it's been a long time since I read the book.

You won't, she was invented for the movie lol. I love the book so much, when I have some money I'm going to buy myself a copy, because I leant it off my friend to read it last year.
