Layla Brooke Mitchell
Caucasian; part Native-American [a very small part]
5’9”, slim/slender (125 lbs)
19 years old
dark brown hair, green eyes
freckles
Narrator; Layla is the go-to girl when you want a laugh. She always has a mischievous glint in her eye. Sarcastic with a capital S.
SOPHIA BUSH: [one, two, three, four, five, six]

Blake Logan
Irish Heritage
5’7”, average (120 lbs)
18 years old
blonde hair, golden brown eyes
nose piercing
Roommate of Layla. Blake is fun-loving and creative, cynical, outgoing and usually the center of attention. She started college early to get ahead, finishing her senior year simultaneously. (may change later)
ELISABETH HARNOIS: [one, two, three, four]

Jason Bailey Reed
Scottish Heritage
6’1”, fit (145 lbs)
20 years old
curly brown hair that flips up at the ends, bright blue eyes
glasses/contacts (tries to wear contacts more often)
Jason is shy and withdrawn, a sensitive guy who (ever since his mother’s death) always tries to see the best in any situation. He has an endearing awkwardness about him. Very perceptive of others (a quality that bothers Layla/makes her uncomfortable).
CHRIS LOWELL: [one, two, three, four, five, six]

Penelope “Ellie” Walters
Irish/German Heritage (on her mother's side; father's unknown)
5’4”, slender (110 lbs)
20 years old
short, black hair, grey-blue eyes
Marilyn Monroe-mole
Ellie has an ethereal air about her, with a unique style. She doesn’t put much thought into her appearance, though is quite soft, with an effortless grace about her features. Ellie is not very outspoken, but has a quirky sense of humor, full of pop culture references.
NORA ZEHETNER: [one, two, three]
ELISHA CUTHBERT: [one, two, three, four, five]

Below are some posters/things that Nicole [spread_the_fun] has made for me.

Summary: (I fail at summaries, so you have been warned.) Basically, entire story takes place at a college in (undecided location- Florida or New York?). The plot revolves around a murder-mystery play that involves the audience, who try to solve the murder. I guess it's sort of like Clue. The main characters are teamed up to solve the mystery, but the night takes an unexpected twist when they discover that the murder was actually real. And that's all I know so far- not that much, I know, but it's a start.

Side Note: Be patient. After creating the characters, Jason and Layla decided they were supposed to hook up in the end. I decided to make that a sub-plot, but not a focal point. Somehow, they took over my brain and that's all I've been able to write about. So basically, I'm writing the end of the novel(?) first. Once I get that over with, I will start. I'm hoping to make this my summer project.
