I've been making lots of earrings with a new technique I discovered. I'm a little ( obsessed. )

Me too. Like cartoon fish bones after a cartoon cat has slurped off the cartoon flesh.

Thanks! Yeah, they're pretty much as flexible as curb chain.

those look great! I particularly love the ones with what appears to be a wire wound carnelian drop.

Remember the good old days when people would ask us for 'CORNelian' ? And prank calls from Dawn asking if we had any purple stones with holes in them? I kinda miss that job. I've never worked with more awesome people at any other job, ever. And I super miss Dawn.

Sorry to wax poetic about Lomadic Lotions days.... Your earrings, they are gorgeous!

Man, I miss that job too. Dawn was such a great boss/friend. Did you remember ugly necklace contests? Or a few times we got random junk down from the attic and put it on the sidewalk to see what people would do. It was so much fun working there.

I forgot about putting the crazy crap out on the sidewalk! That was totally fun. I still have this hideous stone cat thing from the attic that Dawn slipped into one of my bags one night.

I don't think I ever competed in the ugly necklace contests, but I certainly remember that there were some really ugly ones.

I also remember that sometime some of the jewelry made by the staff _should've_ been in the ugly necklace contest ; ) (NOT your stuf, though -- your stuff was always lovely!).

I actually miss closing out, too. Dawn and I would just dance and sing and have a good time, counting money and writing deposits.

Sigh.

It was a crapload of fun working there.

It makes me sad that it isn't even that it's not there anymore, but a lameass pizza joint. Stupid Drag and its stupid college kids these days.... : P
