I guess Holmes/Watson contradicts my only-canon-shipping theory about myself, but damn, even if you don't ship them they really do understand each other. :)

I've never actually seen Ladyhawke (a problem I really should fix soon), but I did read a novel-length X-Men fusion about it, so I sort of know what it's about! Nonetheless, thank you for that link! It was really interesting.

Oh wow, I could see that working! So did they have mutants in medieval times, or did they bring the Ladyhawke characters forward to our time?

Here it is, if you're interested! Of course, I haven't seen X-Men: First Class either, so I have no idea if the characterization is anywhere near accurate. It was mutants in medieval times, though I don't remember the mutant powers being particularly important.

Lestat/Louis, in that they constatly fall out and their relationship exists in defiance of all reason.

Haha. Well put. Sometimes I wonder if that's the attraction for me. Apparently, what appeals to me in fiction is totally unsupportable in life. I'd do well to keep that in mind while seeking potential friends and companions... *sigh*

I somehow missed the big wave of 80s fantasy movies, except for Labyrinth (terrifying!) and The Dark Crystal, but Ladyhawke sounds great. Such a straightforward title, too!

Could I have a letter, please?
