Trying to think of ways to raise money for my mother's cancer treatment, and my brain was eaten by the idea of running a free online serial about a circus traveling through an immediately post-apocalyptic steampunk world. There would be freaks and amazements and explosions and a murder mystery and true love and lots of figuring out how to survive

I'd be interested, I'd read, and I'd contribute (probably not very much, but cost of a hard back is kinda where my finances are at)
(I'm working on getting rid of cultural baggage concerning secrecy about money- it mostly just creates unfair pay scales and misunderstandings)
