Bad Knee, No Biscuit

Nov 07, 2007 08:00

Remember how yesterday was a not-good day for me? Then it got worse.

I blew out my knee.

You know in the movies, where the guy jumps in the air and kicks two people in front of him in the face at the same time? Yeah, that kick. I landed wrong (maybe more on my heel?), felt sharp and agonizing pain in my left knee, heard something grate/knock ( Read more... )

Yeah, I always say that I already know what I'll feel like when I'm 80--'cause that's exactly how I feel the day after a really good workout.

Wow, that really sucks. I haven't been in class lately due partially to my ankle acting up again (twisting it again last week really didn't help, but it was acting up before that. also, work).
Intelligent design is crap. Joints most especially are not intelligently designed!

Youchies! Sounds bad. Have you/ Are you going to see a doctor? Just hope it's not that dreaded MCL or ACL tear that martial arts people seem so plagued by.

Aren't pets just the greatest when you're sick? My dogs and cats are so concerned when I'm not running around in circles like my good ole usual self :)

Made a doctor's appointment today (reluctantly). Fingers crossed that it's just something minor and self-healing.

Pets really are! The only problem was after I had my appendix out, the cats saw me being ill on the couch and kept trying to jump up onto my stomach to cuddle. Not good! I ended up with a pillow as a cat-shield.

I'm so sorry - you did not need this on top of everything else. Do you need to get x-rayed?

Don't know. I overcame my initial reluctance/fear of being seen as "soft", and made a doctor's appointment for noon.

It's the cover of the Rammstein single, "Amerika". Hope that clears things up!
