Stitches get pulled in 10 days. I can slowly start to move the elbow joint using my good hand to guide it. Right now there is only about 2-3 inches I can move my arm so everything is rather stiff. I know I'll get it to extend fully well before I'm ever able to lift my palm to my shoulder. It really hurts alot to move it much of anywhere so it will ( Read more... )

Do you know if you will have to go thru any physical therapy for the arm? or just get your motion/function back normally?

They started with a Smaller titanium piece but didn't like how it was fitting so they went with a larger piece of stainless steel. Those are all screws drilled directly into my bone.

You got the "comb" steel insert. I just got 5 pins. I got to keep them when it was all said and done and made a windchime. :)

It is VERY slow going to get range of motion back. I lost 10 degree on the hand to shoulder angle, 5 degrees on the "straighten" out.

Yeah I heard I might lose some range just from lack of use. Once I can return to the gym one of my main focuses will be to try to return it to 100%
