Proposition 2 on the statewide ballot next month would prevent state judges from overturning current law banning gay marriage. Given that state judges in Texas are elected, and therefore answerable to the people, the chances of a judge doing so are about as good as the Texas Supreme Court outlawing barbecue, so this proposed amendment essentially

so i always make really short entries on my journal and i feel like i'm cutting people short. not telling them enough. so i make long ones.

but then i remember.
i go to my friend's page, and when i see the long entries, i tend to skip over them and read them only if i'm extremely bored.

okay, i've read it now.

i saw "proposition 2" in the first line, and it drew me in. i saw the story on the news. yeah, i'm in total agreement with you on this one.
