And yup, Shinn with earings are quite irresistable and that's how I find him in that fic too... gotta love itaintritehummm... ShinnStella... for me, if a character died, she died. I don't like writing AU simply because character death usually influence how other character becomes... I personally think Stella is one of those person for Shinn ( ... )

Oddly GSD is the only fandom where I like their het couples more than their yaoi.... seriously I still can't see AsuKira or KiraAsu... I see a one way Asu -> Shinn... and I would like to see KiraShinn but other than that... nothing yaoi is tickling my (rusting?) BL antenna...

On the other hand... I see L and Light somewhat yaoi... so I'm not completely yaoi blind yet... I dunno... Although I cannot see anything other than brotherly love between Ed and Al either (sigh)... I think it probably just has to do with the fact that I fell in love with Cagalli and also female characters are starting to be more complex than they have ever been.... (ps. I also like Rukia ^^)

To be honest, I don't even really like that much yaoi LOL And oddly enough I usually go for the non-canon pairings rather then the official ones that are in BL manga and anime (basically because I find most actual BL anime/manga sadistic and overwhelming...) I think it's because BL manga/anime tends to be a soap operaish story whereas non-yaoi/manga series have more action and adventure in them. (As long as its not a soap-operaish het story XD)

I like het a lot, just not in G-seed in particular because I don't exactly like the way they treat women... Pairings like RentonxEureka from Eureka Seven are much more appealing to me XDD I also like TaixSora from Digimon as well as chaosxShion from Xenosaga.
