I'll say religion, but in support of that response, I wear a Unitarian Universalist chalice pin on my jacket which I get asked about a lot.

Also, frequently I'm eating a short rack of ribs while just walking around, so it tends to answer the second question without much doubt.

I like this poll.

The public at large is more likely to ask me whether or not I'm a vegetarian. Whenever I order meatless food in a restaurant, someone usually asks me if I'm a vegetarian. No. I just like falafel, ok?

I have a rude habit of immediately discussing prickly topics like religion and politics when I meet someone I want to befriend. For this reason, people don't need to ask me about my religion.

#2. I eat lots of vegetarian stuff, but I'm an omnivore, so people get confused. I don't remember the last time someone asked about my religion.

Religion. I kind of can't escape my last name, for now, anyway.

But, I do get asked if I'm a vegetarian almost every time I order a slice of veggie pizza. Sometimes, I just like vegetables on my pizza.

Vegetarian. But I live with a vegetarian, and I like meals with tofu, and don't eat meat very often, so it makes sense.
