UGH! That's really gross, but somehow it's not quite as bad as a regular roach would've been. The roaches here in Florida are too huge to fit under the keys of a laptop... I saw a behemoth monster roach in my mom's bathroom back in September. I swear I've seen Air Force planes smaller than that thing was.

:/ I have had bug problems with my computer before though. My dad took my old laptop away from me one time and stashed it in his car. Well, I harassed him about it because I didn't want the summer sun to roast and therefore kill my computer so he gave it back. Turns out his filthy car was infested with tiny black ants. They had swarmed my computer and were crawling all over in and out of the keyboard after it started heating up while I was using it. It was pretty gross. I had to get the compressed air and blast those little suckers out of it.

Although, keyboards are naturally filthy (at least in classroom settings), the thing I don't understand is what attracted it/them there in the first place. Same with your ants.

bug: KAM PYU TURR? I always wanted potential death by starvation and to live a second life as a hermit crab!
Me: !!! *scared of creepy tiny things*

We're pretty anal about cleaning at home, so I've only dealt with cockroaches three times. Once as a kid at my aunt's in her bathroom, in which I was too grossed out to even use it; another at a family friend's restaurant, dead on the floor; and through the medium of Gameboy, a game where you chase them into boxes.
Your ant story, by the way, is now giving me that feeling where I feel like I have insects crawling on my arm. lol, Thank you. [/out.of.proportion]

Ugh I really don't know. The keyboard on my old laptop was really gross, as I found out when one of my keys flew off in a fit of pique. But I think the ants were mostly there just because there were so many of them in my dad's car, so they were just like "lolol hey look a new place to infest!"

:/ My mom is nuts about cleaning too, so I was really shocked to see Roachzilla on his rampage. They were in the process of getting a new counter top in the bathroom, and it had come out of the pipe where the sink normally attached. I saw it, went O_O "AHHHH!" and grabbed my clothes and ran out of the door. I didn't want to find out if it was one of the super-gross flying ones.
