I say go on and do it...I think some people who like the Sckoon design would enjoy a homemade and more affordable version of the same style.

Thank You, I was thinking the same thing too!

I tried looking everywhere to get Egyptian cotton but horribly failed =/

I also say go for it, because some people who didn't like the Sckoon design may like your "interpretation" of it better. (-:

I say go for it, I'm staying away from it so as not to step on toes but it is a really awesome concept:)

Thanks :) Well the insert is going to look more inviting then just being plain (fabric sewn in center). I tried the design out myself, but since I was using BC, I didn't get the full chance of how it worked =/

I wonder how the twist would work? It sound interesting though, I guess you'll want to keep it a secrete till it come out. It'll probably be fine since they are retail and you're a one person maker so those two are for two different markets. Like the Lunapads and people who also use rickrack and holders on etsy. And since Scoon is not here on livejournal there will be no dreaded drama. I really doubt that they would sue you since yours is similar but not an exact copy because of the twist and they probably don't have enough money to do that and they'd warn you first. Anyways I would think it sounds pretty safe. Good luck :)

=O
Fabric sewn directly in center so it would look more inviting. I don't dye fabric so I thought adding a little spice to the insert would make it more appealing =P

I'll try to change the base or holder to make it look different XD.

I don't want to replicate Sckoon, it's just that I really wanted a versatile pad that dried quickly but with a different touch o_o!

Go for it. Even if the design is similar, other things that are important to buyers will be different, materials, type of seller, etc.

You also have a different target audience. A lot of your customers will probably never have heard of Sckoon, while Sckoon may not ever notice little ole you.

Yeah :) The materials will be much different =O! I'm going to try to change the shape of the base so it contours more :) School has really drained my time :(

Just really confused on the pricing, I don't want it to be too pricey x.o!
