Barstools! A few years ago (when I was in Rochester), I remember being on the lookout constantly for them for someone and not finding anything great. I think the hardest part is finding matching, non-crazy-expensive ones. Good luck!
I thought they'd be so easy to find, especially considering I used to see them all the time, but I guess not! I'll keep checking Craigslist and estate sales for awhile, I suppose.
I always think I'm going to share photos of whatever new abode I move into, and then it never happens. Maybe this time it will, but we've got a looooong way to go. I'm glad someone's interested, though - thanks!
I will admit it's like way to fascinating to me, because I really reallly realllllly want my own house and a bigger kitchen (my current one has no actual work space and I had to buy a butcher block to cook on. I can't imagine how amazing it feels to have so much space to cook!

Oh!!!!! I watched an anime series where the main character really reminded me of you at first (or at least college-age Sara)! It's called Toradora! and the main character, Taiga, is this really tiny, really angry/tough girl with loooooong wavy dark blonde hair. It's on Crunchy Roll and the story is incredibly sweet and funny. RECOMMEND
