strangest way to get support....

So I started using cloth pads not that long ago so I'm still getting together a nice stash. With new purchases and making my own, every load of laundry we do has at least a few pads. I've been washing them in mesh bags and honestly most have not been used, but my boyfriend has been very vocal about my switch. His comments of how gross/icky/etc ( Read more... )

Years ago I had a party and someone asked to see the cloth pads that I sell. So, I fetched one to show her. My then Mother-in-Law freaked right out. She started wildly flapping her arms and doing a silly dance. After she had finished making funny noises she screeched "You can't show those in public!"

I've made the zombie apocalypse comment on my own about my slow switch to cloth. I haven't gotten many comments about my switch, mostly weird looks and a lot of 'eh' shrugging.

I gave my cousin a set of pads for her birthday. She told me that when her husband does the laundry and finds one of her pads snapped up, he calls it a 'pussy bomb'. I almost fell over.

My husband was super happy with my switch when he realized there will be no more of me sending him to the store to buy me supplies.
The feminine product isle (and shampoo isle even moreso) scare the crap out of him.
