Favorite Wet-Bag Makers?

I've been putting my used pads in a Ziploc bag, but I want something reusable and pretty. I looked on Etsy for small wet bags, but it's overwhelming. There are over 200 results just for "small wetbags", and that still includes a surprisingly wide range of sizes. If you could recommend the sellers you like (anywhere, not just Etsy), I'd be able to ( Read more... )

I have a small (or mini?) wetbag (7" x 8", maybe?) by ecoAlternatives on Etsy. I don't know the exact size because I didn't order it (I was accidentally sent the wrong order, and she said I could just keep it--she was very nice and prompt about letting me know), though I was in the market for one. I actually really like it because it's small and thin enough that it can squish into smaller places when it's empty or with only one pad in it, but it's large enough that I can fit more pads than I thought in it. At one point on a multi-day trip, I was able to stuff 2 heavy/overnight long pads in there, along with 3-4 regular day pads in there and still have it close like it's nothing.

It's not a fancy bag. It's just PUL with a quilting cotton cover and a zipper, serged together, so it might allow seepage through the seams if your pads leak a lot in storage, but I've never had a problem, even with with 6 pads in it.

Sarah's stitches! I think that she primarily intends them to be for cloth diapers, but I love them and use them for pads as well.

I have a medium double-sided wetbag w/ a handle that snaps from PlanetWise - I love it! It's perfect for a cycle's worth of pads. If you're looking for something small to throw in your purse, their small, double-sided wetbag is great b/c it looks like a pencil case or makeup bag. I've also seen some really attractive ones from Silver Liner (etsy and custom on Hyenacart) and Domino Pads. Luckily cloth pad and wet bag reviews on YouTube are becoming more popular, so you might want to check that out if you haven't already.

CountyClothCreations.etsy.com sells fantastic wetbags in a variety of sizes. I have a small double pocket wetbag from her that I brought over 2 years ago and it still looks fantastic. Popples.etsy.com also sells really nice wetbags that attach easily with snapped straps.

While I do make wet bags, I actually don't do the snapped straps...someone else does though! Hmm, I wish I could remember who it was!

I make wetbags, and I've also heard nothing but good things about Sarah's Stitches. If you look at any of the sites that carry cloth diapers, you'll generally find a good selection of wetbags as well. I use a small bag and it holds about 10 pads (it's about 9 1/2 x 12).
