hello -
i have figured out the difference between "just" and "unjust" laws.
if something is not necessary to obey God, yet sufficient to defy Him, it should not be done.
if something is necessary to obey God, yet sufficient to defy the law, it should be done.
for example: though God does not prohibit smoking weed, it is not necessary to do so in oder to obey Him; yet because it is against the law, smoking weed is sufficient to defy His command "submit to government." consequently weed should not be smoked.
conversely, racial desegregation was necessary to obey God's command "love your neighbor as yourself;" therefore, even though it was sufficient to defy the law, it was necessary to defy government in order to please God. consequently desegregation should be implemented.
