Oh dear, I don't think you'd like the Acrocorinth...

It's just as well that Professor Plum is holding onto the gladius since he is about to enter an age-old war with the lovely redhead in the center of the front row...

age-old war, age-old dance, aren't they approximately the same thing?

Heh, you could be right about that! Though I think Professor Plum really just went home and spent a while hiding from academia and students and especially that really strange young woman in that particular module. I'm not sure what War's doing over the Christmas vac.

War is rather like Death. They really don't take vacations, only minimize sometimes. I think War is just dealing with small localized breakouts along borders instead of full-flung conflagrations.

Good for Professor Plum. Everyone deserves some time off from their students. And you do also, so enjoy your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

>“They were terror weapons,” he tells them, and has to wonder about that redheaded girl: she’s sitting forwards now, intent, her lips a little parted. He can see the pink tip of her tongue.<
LOL! I never thought I´d look forward to read something about War - and love it!
Have a Happy (and peaceful) New Year! (Which doesn´t mean you shouldn´t write moarrrr about this very sexy version of WAR!)

Aww, thanks! And you know I will! (I have a file open even as I type this, although not for this series.) Happy nearly New Year!

Heheh, I'd certainly be paying more attention to a lecturer with a sword... Professor Tom White isn't Pestilence, is he? Just another colorfully-named academic.

Oooooooooh... that's such a good idea, I wish I'd thought of it first! I did have Pestilence lurking in the upper reaches of the department a couple of snippets back...

Thank you for reading, as ever!

I figured you had, from the name. *grin* You are apparently unconsciously brilliant.

Heh, I was just reaching for an unobtrusive Cluedo name. But I think Pestilence is Tom White now! And thank you! :'D
