I LOVE IT ALL, just...... so you know. I love War on horseback, at least in the relative privacy of her head, and womanly nations as she articulates them, and the end, oh; and Crowley's Good Day is naturally just precious. Especially, of course, the accordion.

I am thinking right now that Crowley's good day may be a bit optimistic, because I have to get from one end of the country to the other BY TRAIN today and trains are being cancelled all over the place... but KNOW NOW that if I weren't on edge about that, I would reply with a comment that adequately expressed my gladness and general neediness re: your approval. <3

p.s. how is/was the nearly-true timezone? and, uh, stuff.

rains are being cancelled all over the place...

Bother... At least you could sit and have War-like and bloodthirsty thoughts...

I did, especially after they cancelled my convenient direct train at Birmingham New Street. *sob* It has not been a good day.

Love the idea that no infinitive should be split, and that Rome and Carthage should never be referred to in the female. Crowley is also wonderful, and I can almost see the bubbles as the accordion sinks.

Heh, thanks! I'm glad you liked it! And carols are often very catchy, I think, whether you're into the religious aspects or not.

Hmmm, good to know all my troubles came from a good source :)

>e’d almost turned into something maggoty on the spot.<

Snort, giggle...

I'd already enjoyed War reminiscing about "the good old days" as she happily makes a sutffy old professor extremely nervous, but the new one, corwley's "good--er bad" day is just fun!

Heh, thanks! I'm very glad you enjoyed both ficlets. And a little touch of seasonal cheer never hurt anyone, right? :'D

Snow troubles? Having spent the day travelling, I'm feeling much less cheerful about our ineffable public transport network right now. >_

Your War series is just so awesome.

*chuckles* Poor Crowley...

Aww, thanks! It's great to hear you like it.

And is it just me, or is Crowley more fun when he's sulking? :'D

As always I enjoy War's reminiscences. The last line adds just the right amount of chill.

His sterling efforts on behalf of London’s more aggressive charity muggers had resulted in a truly remarkable number of standing orders being set up for causes of at least minimal moral value
Poor, poor Crowley.

Glad you made it home through the snowy wastes in the end. Sounds like it was painful though.

The trains... oh, the trains. I was glad, in the end, that my dad phoned me up in the morning and made me nervous enough to swap the suitcase for handluggage (even though I now have hardly any clothes here, and none of my own big jumpers). Birmingham New Street is truly ineffable. :S

Travelling light was no doubt a wise move. Never had the pleasure of changing trains at Birmingham New Street, but if it was anything like St.Pancreas...*shudders*
Crossing fingers at the moment. Leaving tomorrow for Amsterdam and catching the last flight to the old country. The flights are running, but any delays and I am stuck in Schipol. On the plus side there is plenty of floor space in Schipol...

It was not fun. No one knew anything about anything, especially if they worked there. And that sounds decidedly complicated and I wish you the best of luck! It would be a nightmare to be caught between countries, I hope you get through all right. *crosses fingers, hard*
