Hahahahaha x 1 billion

Love the fact that you posted that. It made me smile. I needed that.

Love you!

*ruffles hair*

Wonderful! So glad you liked it -- that's the point, after all. Let's just see what happens to Kat Ferny in later chapters, now... ;D

It certainly made me smile, too!

I'm not sure this urchin is quite as hapless as she seems...

I used to have a friend who picked out a favourite line of anything I wrote - it was fun to see if her favourite was also mine - but I had too many lines that cried out to me to choose one here.

Fantastic! This story is going to be seriously whimsical, barely a serious moment to be seen -- if it makes you smile, it's accomplished its purpose.

And thanks for being so kind about the lines; I'm going to be in a good mood for what remains of the night. (Admittedly that's not very long in the UK; but hey. :D)

Delightful!! Very nice to see E&M at work, and love your writing style. The opening was genius.

But as I am relatively new to your universe, I am unfamiliar with Lady Inez. Is there another story I should have the pleasure of reading?

Oh, that makes me very a happy person! Thank you so much! :D

Don't worry about Lady Inez -- the reason this story is flocked here and archived on a different FFN account is that it's sprung from a whole lot of extremely unserious forum games that, uh, I won't detail because that might spoil the fun of the story. Let's just say that extreme silliness was involved at various points and that this story really should not be taken seriously at all. I felt like some froth and whimsy, and Gogol the Urchin and Inez the Supervillain (aka Ignoble Bard) provoked me into this. So blame them!

(In my more serious moments, I'm justifying this story to myself as an experiment in the genre "light-hearted romp with tenuous connections to canon". I'm not sure where it's going; but I'm determined to have fun getting there. Hopefully it will provide some entertainment for other people along the way. :D)

Please let me be the first to comment on this. Absolutely amazing! I love it! The way you enclosed that scenic opening, and the way you had Inez make her appearance - this is going to be a really great fic!

I am absolutely eager to read more!

Nitpicks: there seem to be some doubled words in this (involved involved, for example) but I am not sure if they were mistakes or deliberate. Anyway, this is fun! ;D *applause*

Edit to add: oh, well, that shall teach me to refresh the page and read all comments first before posting... so much for first comment. But I love it, anyway. :)

Aww, thank you! So glad you liked this -- I do hope it lives up to the Epic Adventures of C&K! ;D (I have hopes of including you as Damsel in Distress at some point, although I'm not altogether sure how that will work out. With luck, it will all become clear in due course.)

Thanks for your FFN review as well! and thanks very much for picking up the involved involvement; that was definitely a mistake. I'm always grateful to hear about that sort of thing.

lol - that's some opening chapter you've given us here!
>>“I want it back. I will take it back, one way or another.<<

Now why would the lady Inez be travelling around with a dragon's egg in the first place?

I look much forward to the next chapter. :-)

Thanks! you've rather made my evening! :D

(This story is totally going to be a light-hearted romp with a fairly tenuous relationship to canon; I hope you have as much fun reading it as I plan to have writing it. ;D)

>>This story is totally going to be a light-hearted romp with a fairly tenuous relationship to canon<<

Excellent - just what the doctor ordered! XD

I've got a separate LJ stories with canon-disputable (is that a word?) content; seems easer than making Flocks and trying to figure out who might like the current topic (it gave me a headache!).

Hmm, seems I didn't read the introduction as carefully as I might have. Just noticed this:

>>ignoblebard* (a.k.a. Inez) <<

*g* That's an interesting casting! One thing is certain, 'Inez' is not going to give up just like that.

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun, working on this. :-)

Oh, that's an interesting idea; I'm not sure I want a spare journal, but maybe I'll give my frivolous twin a comm to play in. I'll have to think about that for the next chapter. It feels odd to flock fanfic.

Not at all, that's my fault; I edited that in for the sake of clarity. And you're absolutely right, "Inez" will protest in no uncertain terms if his alter ego is mangled. :'D

We've used up a whole lot of forum space with these games -- it's been great fun. Hopefully that will come through in the story!
