What fun, and so relieving that Melinna was returned from Mandos. The two of them are such an amazing pair - third party observers to everything. Curious and completely unafraid of the items that face them or the difficulties that may exist for them. Really, quite amazing. Thank you for making my Tuesday fun. It was worth being 1/2 hour late this morning just to read and comment :-)

<3 Thank you for reading, as always, and I'm very glad you enjoyed this! I do like writing Erestor and Melinna and this has been a fun romp -- I only wish it hadn't taken me so long to finish it! I was derailed by RL stuff about this time last year and never quite got back on track, at least as far as this particular story went. But now it's done. It's great to hear you had fun reading it too!

Hurrah! Both hurrah that you have had time to finish this story, and hurrah that there are a lot more tales to tell from here.

Miss Gogollescent Ferny meets Círdan sounds worth the telling for a start, not to mention the further adventures of Lady Inez, or what Melinna is going to do with a full grown dragon at sometime in the future.

It did take forever. I think any further adventures are going to have to wait -- until the next Big Bang, say, if I'm feeling energetic. I have definite ideas, though. They can stew until then.

This comment was MADE OF AWESOME and so was every other comment you have made (especially the tremendously helpful one that supplied the dragon's favourite word, for which I am much indebted), and have helped keep this story going despite the horrendous gaps between updates. I have some definite ideas for where the roadtrip might take the lot of them (Mirkwood and Moria, eventually, and there might be tentacles involved), but they will take a while to coalesce, I think. Maybe if/when the next LOTR Big Bang comes round I'll have time to take part. For now, I can only repeat how glad I am that you've enjoyed the story and how grateful I've been to you for reading and for sharing your thoughts so generously! <3

I suspect I missed a few in-jokes along the way, but I really enjoyed reading this! I'm ready to follow M&E on their next field trip though Arnor whenever you care to take them.
