That's the mode I go into anytime David isn't home for dinner. I can make a big fat baked potato and that's it? Score!

And double yum to snow peas. Those are my favorite as well.

*laughs* I had a bowl of salted edamame, a bowl of cereal, a half-dozen cherries, watermelon-cherry KoolAid, and a handful of crackers for dinner last night.

Of course, today I was fish and vegetables in a terrible way. But I totally grok the adult-kid eating habits.

My husband eats what he wants, when he wants. He comes home and eats 1)Some hot salty/cheezy thing, 2) chips, 3) waffles, and 4) cookies. In that order, everyday. The only vegetables/fruits he eats are anything embedded within the cheesy/salty thing and possibly dried fig if the cookies are fig newtons. I hide my face in my hands. He never comes home at the same time every day, and he won't wait longer than 90 seconds to start eating. Came home one night as I was making risotto, which I told him would be ready in 8 minutes. By the time risotto was done, he was finishing his waffles.

I'm postponing dinner normalcy until there are more than two mouths to feed. In the meantime, tomato/basil/mozzarella salad and popcorn is a perfectly acceptable dinner around here.
