This almost made me cry. Poor River and thank heavens Jayne was there for her. I kind of hoped he'd hop up on the bed with her and keep her company. I liked this. :)

That was absolutely beautiful! I loved this so much. So well written and very heartfelt. I was getting a little bit worried while River had the gun--but that's because I was thinking of how I would end the story, would have been less of a happy ending--but you wrapped it all up very wonderfully. ♥
