Oliver is back home. He's feeling zippy and is having lots of fun, thanks to "Prednisone, the Wonder Drug - Until it Isn't," and his swimming pool.

He played with the water from the hose and splashed in the pool. dsign took pictures.

We're going to show the lil' Mister Beegs a good time ere the end. Tomorrow there may be swimming - his favorite.

Oliver is still in the hospital, but it's the regular vetrinary clinic that we go to rather than the emergency clinic he was at all (holiday) weekend long.

No changes - they haven't been able to get his calcium level down, but they haven't been particularly agressive with teh drugs yet, either. For some reason the doc in the emergency clinic ( Read more... )

The Vet says it's probably not Addison's disease; they got lots of fluids into Oliver last night and his calcium level was actually UP at 1:00 am. If it was Addison's disease, they would have been down practically to normal upon getting the fluids ( Read more... )

To those waiting (with baited breath, no doubt) for the latest Oliver video, all I can say is:

Stupid YouTube.

Apparently when it's quite busy (like every loony uploading videos of his dog, which apparently happens mostly in the evenings), YouTube takes quite awhile to process the movies. I added it over two hours ago.

Sigh.

For those who think that combining a snowblower and a happy dog is a bad idea, I submit to you this:

The only thing Oliver likes better is spraying non-frozen water!
