I'm not sure about this blogging thing. I tend to be more of a lurker. Partly because of privacy concerns, partly out of laziness! But I figure I might give this a whirl--might be a good place to record random thoughts.

Depending on your privacy druthers, you can edit your posts to be "friends only" and therefore more private (you'll know by the little padlock icon near the subject). If you want something completely private, you put an "eye" icon next to it.

Woohoo first visitor! Funny, I just emailed you a question about posting to a community. I'm fairly web savvy, but darn it, LJ is just not that intuitive!

Thanks for the friends only advice--would address the privacy concerns. Not that I have a lot of shocking revelations or anything . . . the idea of random people reading my stuff is just a little creepy.
